A little creativity, a little whimsy, and a whole lot of heart. Welcome to Artful Companions!
I'm Paula, an Australian artist and maker with a love of creativity in all its forms.
For me, creating is about more than making something beautiful. It's about exploring ideas, experimenting with materials, following my curiosity and discovering what happens when imagination meets the simple act of making.
My creative journey takes me in many directions. I paint colourful watercolour wildlife, capturing the character and beauty of the natural world. I also love working with textiles, sewing, making cute toys and creating quirky keyrings and handmade treasures.
I'm happiest when I'm exploring something new, whether that's a different artistic technique, an interesting piece of fabric or an idea that simply won't leave me alone until I've brought it to life.
Artful Companions is where these creative adventures come together. It's a little corner of the world where art, imagination and handmade creations can coexist, each with its own personality and purpose.
My hope is that something you discover here will make you smile, brighten your home, remind you of a beloved animal or simply bring a little joy into your day.
Thank you for being part of my creative journey and supporting independent Australian art and handmade creations.
